Kirsten Velasco, Board Member of Illinois Women in Cannabis and Outreach Manager with The Medical Cannabis Community will cover the history, medical options, safe use and risks. She'll also explain hemp, CBD, THC and the new laws in Illinois.
Ms. Velasco created the first and second volunteer cannabis education campaign in Illinois and is regularly invited to present seminars throughout the state. She has given over 150 cannabis education programs, assisted over 150 medical cannabis application submissions, worked outreach and patient care at a local dispensary.
