Neurodiverse individuals often have unique abilities—such as attention to detail, pattern recognition, or strong memory—that can be great assets in the workplace.

Tim Fox with The Precisionists, Inc. (TPI) will discuss how shifting the conversation from “limitations” to “capabilities” helps build confidence and motivation for neurodiverse job seekers, and how teens and young adults can explore interests and practice workplace skills through volunteering, internships, or part-time jobs. Tim will also discuss organizations that provide full-time employment assistance and in-job support.

Tim is a dedicated advocate for neurodiversity in the workplace and has made it their mission to help individuals on the Autism spectrum find meaningful, sustainable employment. Based in Wilmette, Tim partners with local businesses and support organizations to create inclusive job opportunities tailored to the strengths and needs of neurodiverse talent. With a deep belief in the value of every individual, Tim works tirelessly to bridge the gap between untapped potential and inclusive hiring practices, helping both individuals and companies thrive.

The Precisionists, Inc. (TPI), a Benefit Corporation, is a national company focused on providing industry best practices for delivering administrative and technology services by building teams which include individuals with neurodiversities, such as autism.  This approach enables The Precisionists to meet each customer’s specific needs and to deliver projects with the highest degree of productivity, while providing a nurturing and team-based environment for its workforce to achieve successful career outcomes.  The Precisionists is dedicated to creating 10,000 jobs for people with neurodiversities over the next decade.
