Have a baby born since Fall 2025? Join us to build community and confidence as you navigate life with your new little one.

This spring, the library invites parents and caregivers of babies born since Fall 2025 to a new program series designed to support families in their first year. Each session features a cozy baby storytime, play time with age-appropriate toys, and opportunities to meet other new parents. Early childhood experts will be present to answer your questions about topics such as infant sleep, early nutrition, and developmental milestones. Learn, play, and grow together in a supportive library community. Meeting dates will be Saturdays, March 14, April 11, and May 9.

As our community of new parents grows, we’ll continue to launch new groups for families with babies born in later seasons—so everyone can find their circle of support. If your baby was born earlier in 2025 and you are seeking connection and advice, you are welcome to join us.

Our experts:

Saturday, March 14 · Kassie Leachman, a certified full spectrum doula and childbirth educator, will present tips and answer questions about infant feeding and care.

Saturday, April 11 ·  Lauren Ratliff LCSW, founder of Matrescence Therapy, will talk about supporting your mental health in the first year.

Saturday, May 9 · Elizabeth Hackl, M.S., an ASHA-certified speech-language pathologist, will talk about language development and answer questions about issues with feeding.

If you are registered for the series but can't make it to a meeting, that's not a problem! We know how unpredictable life can be with a new baby.
