Take a break from screens, relax at home, and create something with our Teen Take & Makes.
After you register, you must make a reservation to pick up your Take & Make kit at the library through contactless pickup. Pickup begins Friday, February 12. Call Adult Services at 847-256-5025 to make a pickup reservation or use our online form.
This event will take place on Zoom. Registrants will receive a Zoom meeting link the day of the program.
Important: This program is limited to teens 13 years old and up. Needle felting uses a sharp, barbed tool that can easily result in pricked fingers. Wearing leather or protective gloves (not provided) may be helpful; a thimble will be available for participants to use in the kit. Participants will need to provide a flat surface with a folded towel, foam board, or other protected area that is okay to have a needle poking into it.
