Art historian Jeff Mishur of Art Excursions will discuss the works of Austrian artist Gustav Klimt, highlighting important examples of Klimt’s work including The Beethoven Frieze & The Woman in Gold.
Mishur also places Klimt within the art historical context of the late 19th century Symbolist movement. Jeff Mishur is co-owner of Art Excursions, a company that provides private guiding in Chicago, lectures, and boutique art and culture tours in the United States. A popular speaker about art history and travel, he has taught at the university level for many years.
