In our new teen book club, we’ll eat pizza, play games, plan bookish community projects, and discuss how books of all genres reflect and influence the world around us. Grades 9-12.
In our first meeting, we’ll discuss books centered on Black voices, contemporary and historical. You can read one of the selected titles, or just come to talk about any books (or articles, or podcasts, etc.) that fit the theme. At this meeting we’ll also play a custom deck of Timeline, give some books away as prizes, and also vote on topics and projects for future meetings.
