Join our panel of guests in exploring how Henrik Ibsen's play "A Doll's House" relates to the feminist movement & how Nora's story still resonates today. Presented with Writer's Theatre.
When it was first published in 1879, Henrik Ibsen's groundbreaking play "A Doll's House" was already getting people talking. The story culminating in Nora Helmer's "door slam heard around the world" was sparking debate and even making some worry that it would make women want to leave their families. But in many ways, the play was actually more of Ibsen's time than ahead of it. A new streamlined 90-minute adaptation of "A Doll's House" by Sandra Delgado and Michael Halberstam is playing at Writer's Theatre from September 25-December 15.
