Join an expert birder for a spring migration bird walk at Gillson Park. Springtime is most birders' favorite time of year in the Chicago area, as breeding birds are singing and migrating birds are pouring through. You will look for a variety of migrant and resident birds, learn all about migration and the birds you see, and be able to ask all of your burning bird-related questions. Our walk will be slow-paced and educational, and hopefully we will see lots of birds. While not mandatory, please bring binoculars if you have them. The event will take place in light rain or shine and be rescheduled in case of severe weather.
