The John Erickson Trio has been delighting audiences for over 10 years with its unique arrangements of familiar pop & jazz classics and original compositions. The groups broad repertoire includes songs from such wide ranging artists as The Beatles, The Beach Boys, Dave Brubeck, Vince Guaraldi, Journey, U2, Thelonius Monk, Beethoven, and even The Muppets. Also known for wonderful holiday concerts, Gina Vodegel of All About Jazz writes, “the Erickson Trio creates a whole new universe with lush reharmonizations, extended melodies, and subtle force. They turns traditionals into originals and lift them beyond the holiday season.” Displaying a clear joy in playing together and in sharing their music with others, The John Erickson Trio delivers a remarkably enjoyable evening for any audience.
