Join us for an introduction to the benefits of the ancient practice of meditation presented by Ramaa Krishnan, founder of Full Bloomed Lotus in Wilmette.
As we make our way through this time of great challenge and uncertainty, join us in learning how meditation can help us live in harmony with our deeper identity-despite the challenges of our human condition. Ramaa Krishnan will explain meditation, its benefits, its scientific backing, and guide the group in a short practice. In learning to be fully present, we can release our daily preoccupations and find an inner peace that supports us, our relationships, and the world.
Ramaa Krishnan is the founder of Full Bloomed Lotus Center for Self-Awareness in Wilmette and has been teaching Meditation and Mindfulness in the neighborhood for the past 20 years. She is also the founder of Grow Through Mindfulness, a non-profit dedicated to bringing mindful awareness to youth in local schools and to introducing mindfulness as a means to empower under-resourced communities.
Registration will close two hours before the program begins and registrants will receive a link to join via Zoom shortly thereafter.
