Vincent Catalano and Katrina Sudman met in Rome in 2018, where they formed a classical four-hands piano duo while studying under Carlo Maria Dominici, the last pupil of Arturo Benedetti Michelangeli. Since then, they have performed widely throughout the United States, with frequent appearances in Chicago’s Fourth Presbyterian Church Noonday Concert Series and Milwaukee’s Wednesday Concert Series at the Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist.
The duo has also appeared in Washington, D.C. at the Church of the Epiphany’s Tuesday Concert Series and at the Casa Italiana Sociocultural Center. In Detroit, they performed at the Basilica of Ste. Anne, the second-oldest continuously operating parish in the United States. Their concert tours have additionally taken them to venues in Cleveland, Cincinnati, and Minneapolis, establishing them as an active and internationally trained collaborative piano ensemble.
