Join Peter T. Alter in an exploration of the intellectual and social history of the community areas and neighborhood naming during the twentieth and twenty-first centuries. Peter T. Alter is Chief Historian and Director of the Studs Terkel Center for Oral History Chicago and a member of the Chicago History Museum Curatorial Staff.
