Alzheimer's Association's Approaches to DEI within the LGBTQ+ Community.
Learn basic information on the difference between Alzheimer’s and dementia, stages, risk factors, research, and FDA-approved treatments, while also learning the impact within the LGBTQ+ community, current enacted policies, and the Alzheimer's Association's diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts.
This presentation is facilitated by the Alzheimer's Association and will be held on Zoom.
This program is part of the Queer Aid virtual workshops, which are dedicated to the legal and mental wellness of the LGBTQIA+ community.
