Have you wanted to play D&D before, but aren't sure how to make a character? Feel mystified by ability scores, hit points, armor class, and more? Join us to learn the basics of character creation!
We'll learn everything you need to know about creating a character from scratch in this beginner session, at the end of which you'll have a character ready for your first (or next) D&D game with friends, or even at the library's D&D club! While we may play a short adventure to test out our new characters' abilities, this won't be our typical adventure play through.

From I-94 (Edens Expressway):from the South - exit at Lake Ave. East. Go east on Lake Ave. a little over 2 miles. Turn right on Park Ave. • from the North - exit at Rt. 41/Skokie Blvd. Turn left (east) on Lake Ave. Go east on Lake Ave. a little over 2 miles. Turn right on Park Ave.
Mass transit options include CTA, Metra, and Pace.
