In partnership with Evanston Public Library, educators from the YWCA will present queer-inclusive safer sex practices for emerging adults ages 18 to 24.
Queerness is often left out of or misrepresented in traditional sex education. In this two-part series, professional sex educators from the YWCA will present queer-inclusive safer sex practices for emerging adults ages 18 to 24. We will begin with a virtual session about pleasure and consent, STI prevention, and why contraception still matters for queer folks. An in-person follow up will be hosted on November 17th; register for that here: Safer Sex for All-In Person.
Queer Aid virtual workshops are dedicated to the legal and mental wellness of the LGBTQIA+ community.
