Explore neurodiversity, the natural variation in how human brains are wired, in this workshop with speech and language pathologist Stephanie Boron.
Human brains are as diverse as we are as individuals. Whether you're supporting your own child or curious to learn more about our neurodiverse community, this workshop is for you. Learn communication and regulation strategies to support your child's unique brain and affirm how they see the world. Children ages 4 and older can enjoy a storytime and craft in the Youth Program Room while adults attend the program.
Stephanie Boron is a pediatric speech and language pathologist with a passion for creating safe and inclusive spaces for neurodivergent clients and their families. As a firm believer that disability rights are human rights, Stephanie is committed to partnering with community spaces to increase accessibility and belonging for minds of all kinds.
This series is presented in partnership with District 39 PTAs and PTOs, and this program reflects the district’s DEIB monthly themes, which celebrate diverse identities, beliefs and traditions.
