If you travel just two hours from Phoenix you can also visit pine forests, ghost towns, lakes, Native American ruins, and scenic vistas. This slide lecture takes you down some of the roads less traveled to visit the frontier towns of Prescott and Wickenburg, Goldfield ghost town, Roosevelt Lake, Payson, Boyce Thompson Arboretum, and Besh-Ba-Gowah Archaeological Park.
