Kick off your weekend by unwinding with a relaxing sound meditation with musician and sound-healer, Preston Klik.
Immerse yourself in the healing sounds of numerous dynamic instruments such as a large ocean gong, Native flutes, crystal bowls, handpan, chimes and more. This evocative sound-journey is designed to release emotions in the body, bring about peace-filled solace, and a sense of closure. Many attendees lie down, others sit, and most close their eyes to “dream” with the sounds. Please bring a yoga mat, blanket, and/or a pillow if you’d like. A limited supply of yoga mats will be available as well as chairs for those who prefer them.
Preston Klik has an intuitive grasp for creating a variety of beautiful meditation music using an assortment of exotic and rare world instruments. He is also a gongadier or "gong whisperer" and sound healer. Preston performs sound-healing meditations and offers private one-on-one vibrational sound therapy sessions and lessons at his Chapel of Sacred Sounds in Evanston, IL.
