Celebrate self expression, identity, and the LGBTQIA+ community with a storytime for the whole family.
Enjoy stories and songs about love, diversity, and community. A 15-minute storytime is followed by a rainbow craft. This is a welcoming space to connect with other families, talk with librarians, and explore ways to build community. We use a visual schedule, keep the lights low, and offer sensory tools and noise canceling headphones.
Register once per family. Adults must be accompanied by a child. Children 8 and under must be supervised at all times.
From the south: Go north on Green Bay Road. Turn left on Wilmette Ave. Turn right on Park Ave. Library is located on the corner of Wilmette Ave. and Park Ave. Parking lot is on the north side of the building.
