Parents and caregivers, create and connect through playful crafts at this restorative hour led by Haven Youth and Family Services.
Parenting in today’s world can leave us feeling anxious and disconnected. Take a moment to recharge and connect with fellow caregivers. We’ll start with a simple centering exercise that you can use whenever you need it. Then, we’ll indulge in crafts and activities that bring joy and gratitude like friendship bracelets and origami. Gift one to a new library friend or bring one home to your loved one.
Haven Youth and Family Services is a community mental health organization providing a variety of services across the North Shore. Haven aims to create a community where everyone feels supported. During this “play date,” Haven therapists will encourage mindfulness and provide resources for current needs or future exploration.
Tea and snacks will be provided. This is a program for adults.
