What happens when a curious mind refuses to give up? Join award–winning local author Amy Alznauer for an interactive session inspired by her 2025 book The Five Sides of Marjorie Rice, the true story of a self-taught mathematician who made a major discovery from her kitchen table. Through hands-on activities in geometry and art, participants will explore creativity, pattern-making, and what it means to follow your passion in math—or any field.
