This year's Wilmette Reads is all about retellings and how we look at and understand stories through a fresh lens. From Greek mythology to classics to folklore, retellings transform familiar tales through genre, time, place, gender, perspective, and more. Join Wilmette librarians for a discussion of why we love twice-told tales, what we learn from them, and your favorite titles and adaptations from literature and beyond. Light refreshments will be provided.
