Library LawnCelebrate the end of summer break with the fun, upbeat, and oh-so-danceable music of Wendy and DB!
Families are invited to bring a picnic dinner to the library lawn starting at 6pm. We'll have free shaved ice from the Kona Ice truck 6-7:30pm, compliments of the Friends of the Wilmette Public Library. At 6:30, enjoy an upbeat, interactive folk rock concert with Wendy and DB.
Singer/songwriting team Wendy and DB are a Grammy-nominated children’s music duo from Chicago. Through their use of folklore and song, Wendy and DB inspire and excite young musicians, encouraging their growth. Their unique energy shines through as they bring the enchantment of ukulele, guitar, and their voices to vibrant live performances tailored for families and young people of all ages! Please bring a blanket or lawn chairs to sit on. Children 8 and under must be supervised closely at all times. We encourage you to carpool, bike, walk, or take public transportation, as library parking is limited.
In the event of inclement weather, the show will take place in the Auditorium, and the Kona Ice truck will be outside.
