Engineer a marble run using peg board, cardboard tubes, pipe cleaners and more!
Sensory-friendly programs are intended for children with all abilities including autism spectrum disorders, sensory processing disorders, anxiety, or other cognitive or physical disabilities, who have a low tolerance for crowds, loud noises, darkness, flashing lights, and other similar sensory input. Attendees can feel comfortable moving or vocalizing throughout the program.
Register once per family.
Parents and caregivers of children under 9 must stay in the library during the program.

From I-94 (Edens Expressway):from the South - exit at Lake Ave. East. Go east on Lake Ave. a little over 2 miles. Turn right on Park Ave. • from the North - exit at Rt. 41/Skokie Blvd. Turn left (east) on Lake Ave. Go east on Lake Ave. a little over 2 miles. Turn right on Park Ave.
