Susan Antonini, Student Assistance Program Liaison, Adviser Faculty, New Trier High School
Susan Antonini, LCSW, is a faculty member of New Trier High School, where she supports students as a social worker and academic adviser. Earlier in her career, she worked across a variety of sectors, including education, business, and health and wellness. A mother of six adult children, she promotes strategies for navigating life’s complexities in ways that foster personal growth.
Bri Hoekstra, Program Director at National Alliance of Mental Illness, Cook County North Suburban
Bri Hoekstra obtained her Bachelor's Degree in Education at Illinois State University and later obtained her Master’s Degree in Education as a Reading Specialist at DePaul University. Bri has experience working as a Chicago Public Schools’ Special Education Teacher in the South Shore, Chicago community. In November 2022, and Bri took over the position of Program Director at the NAMI CCNS, with the goal of expanding youth programming.
Anna Upson, Librarian and English Teacher, Glenbrook North High School
Anna has taught English at GBN for the past 14 years, and she works particularly with struggling readers and juniors. Since COVID, she has focused on helping students manage academic stress in a high-pressure environment.
