Playing a variety of blues and Americana music styles, the Donna Herula Trio tips the hat to the tradition while creating a fresh, contemporary perspective on blues and roots music.
Donna Herula, blues singer, songwriter resonator slide guitarist, and Chicago Blues Hall of Fame inductee, will be joined by Marc Edelstein on upright bass and Tony Wittrock on acoustic guitar and mandolin for a fun show. The Donna Herula Trio will perform songs of the Deep South that developed into Chicago Blues. They will also talk about the artists that made these music styles popular. In addition, they will play original songs from Donna’s award-winning blues album "Bang at the Door" that won "Best Acoustic Blues Album" at the 2022 Independent Blues Awards.
