Learn to crochet a cute goldfish and make it "float" in a glass jar decorated like a mini aquarium with this kit. This kit uses a crochet tutorial from Creativebug, our crafting resource. Gr. 7-12.
Take a break from screens, relax at home, and create something with our Teen Take & Makes.
Register beginning February 21, and starting Friday, March 14, pick up your free Teen Take & Make kit at the Adult Services Desk. If you would like to pick up your kit at our 24/7 outdoor lockers, please call the library. This kit will include a recorded video along with written instructions.
The tutorial is available on Creativebug, free for Wilmette Public Library card holders. You'll need your library card number to access the site. After you pick up your kit, log in to Creativebug and search "Fish Mobile" to get started. Use the video tutorial to make your crochet fish only, after which our kit will show you how to decorate the mini aquarium and hang the fish inside.
