AuditoriumA history of our village's prominent businesses
The nation's 250th birthday is a time to reflect on how the United States reached its present condition, and how our own community grew alongside it. How have Wilmette’s businesses evolved over the years, and how have they helped shape the thriving place we know today? Join local historian John Jacoby, author of “Wilmette at 150,” for a lecture about the village’s many prominent businesses and how they’ve grown and adapted to economic, technological, and social changes affecting the community, region and the nation.
