Enjoy a concert with The Apollo Trio featuring flutist Scott Metlicka, clarinetist Patrick Rehker, and bassoonist Joshua Fleming.
The Apollo Trio features music written for flute, clarinet, and bassoon. The program will include an arrangement of Renaissance pieces along with classical, impressionistic, and modern pieces by Mayr, Pierne, and Piston. The cleverly arranged program highlights these instruments as soloists and blended together. The three musicians play together in the Rockford Symphony Orchestra. Individually they have performed with Lyric Opera of Chicago, the Grant Park Symphony, Milwaukee Symphony, and Elgin Symphony.
