Gain an understanding of the Scratch programming language. Basic computer skills required.
In this class you will acquire the necessary skills in Scratch to program your own 2D video game. Attendees will be creating a clone of the classic "Pong" video game. By the end of this course you will be able to navigate the Scratch platform, create your own custom sprites, and add movement functionality to your game.
Before attending the program, be sure to create an account with Scratch and have your username and password readily available once the program begins.
Attendees must have basic computer skills such as using a mouse and keyboard and be able to navigate to a website.
