Matt "MV" Perry is a young Chicago-based author and disability and mental illness advocate. His debut novel, A Revolution of the Mind, deals heavily with mental illness and the North Shore and was praised as "a great Chicago novel" by Chicago Reader. Matt holds a Masters in Public Policy and Administration and a JD, and he has been in the mental health system as a consumer, organizer, activist, policy advisor, and social worker.
Josh Friedberg is an author, music historian, tutor, and TEDx speaker who grew up in Wilmette and lives in Chicago. He has published 70 articles, authored many blogs, and has been featured in two books, including the twenty-fifth anniversary of Chicken Soup for the Teenage Soul.
