Join Paris tour guide Patrick Herpe in a live streamed tour outside of the newly reopened Notre Dame and the Île de la Cité.
In 1163, the King of France decided to build a cathedral in Paris. 150 years later, Notre Dame was consecrated. Join Paris tour guide Patrick Herpe on a live streamed tour of the Île de la Cité, where Notre Dame is located, in the very heart of the oldest part of Paris (300 BC), and then discover this jewel of Gothic architecture. We'll look at its life from 1163 to 2019, then talk about the fire and, of course, its reconstruction. Due to unreliable connection in the cathedral, we will stay outside, allowing us to discover this architectural gem even better.
