A lecture on the early life of the iconic writer and theologian.
C. S. Lewis expert, Dr. Harry Lee Poe, will lecture and discuss remotely his new book, Becoming C. S. Lewis, a biography of the young Lewis. In this biography, Poe explores how through spiritual, emotional, academic, and social growth, Lewis evolved into a great writer and scholar. Poe will discuss the content, research and writing process for his book.
Dr. Poe is a professor of Faith and Culture at Union University in Jackson, Tennessee, where he has taught a class on Lewis for twenty years. He is related to Edgar Allan Poe and serves on the Board of the Edgar Allan Poe Foundation. He is an award winning author.
Registration will close two hours before the program begins and registrants will receive a link to join shortly thereafter.
