Drop in for an introductory kids’ yoga class! Learn basic sun salutations, simple yoga flows, and many other yoga poses.
Yoga can have many benefits, such as helping children manage anxiety and improving emotional regulation, as well as building strength, balance, and flexibility. Through stories and games, your child will learn to tune into their senses, recognize emotions, and use breath, meditation, and movement to address uncomfortable feelings. Presented in partnership with Yogaview Wilmette.
Please bring a yoga mat, towel, or blanket and wear loose-fitting, comfortable clothing. A limited number of yoga mats will be provided for use during class.
Due to extreme heat, this program will take place in the Library Auditorium.
