Matt and Alison of Take a Hike Photography share their adventures trekking iconic trails worldwide, from Kilimanjaro to Patagonia, blending passion, photography, and storytelling.
For the past 20 years, Matt and Alison have pursued an ambitious goal: to hike the Classic Hikes of the World. With hundreds of miles behind them, they've explored some of the most breathtaking trails across the globe, including Torres del Paine in Chile, the Wonderland Trail in Washington, the John Muir Trail in California, Peru’s Cordillera Blanca, and Tanzania’s Mount Kilimanjaro. Their passion for the outdoors and photography led to the publication of their book Hiking Photography (Sandiburg Press), and their deep roots in environmental education and the Riverwoods Nature Photographic Society bring a unique depth to their storytelling. In this program, they’ll showcase awe-inspiring landscapes and share practical insights from their journeys. Follow their ongoing adventures at takeahikephotography.com or on Instagram @takeahikephotography.
