AuditoriumJoin travel pros Barbara Sugden and Ron Vargason to explore Ireland by barge, ferry car, and foot. Discover lush hills, rugged coasts, ancient myths, and heroic history shaping this magical island.
Travel by barge, ferry, car, and foot to see this little green island of lush landscapes, rolling hills, barren rocky fields, dramatic coastlines, vibrant cities, and age-old historic sites that became home to Celts, Vikings, and Normans long before it formed the two countries it hosts today: the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland. It’s filled with myths and magic as well as golden ages of scholarship and literature. But it’s also had a long and tortured history with determined, everyday heroes willing to sacrifice all for a chance at life and liberty. Hear stories throughout the ages that make Ireland one-of-a-kind today. Photos from 2025.
