Over the course of four centuries, nearly 7 million Germans made their way to the New World. One area where their legacy remains particularly strong is Chicago's North Shore. Early German settlers had a profound impact on the history and development of New Trier Township, including New Trier High School, the Village of Gross Point, and St. Joseph's Church. Come learn about their contributions to the area's community life, businesses, buildings, and architecture. Presented by local researcher Angelique Burbach.
