One Book Everyone Reads is the library's annual reading and discussion series. The signature event for the series is a discussion with Charles Yu, author of this year's featured book, Interior Chinatown. TUtilizing satire and humor, the book is a unique and inventive narrative that takes a lens to race, immigration, stereotypes, pop culture, Hollywood, and the roles that people are forced to play in the modern world.

A Q & A will follow the author’s presentation, and members of the Zoom audience will be invited to submit written questions during the program.
The event is free and open to the public, but those interested in attending must register. All who register to attend will receive a Zoom link for the event prior to the start of the program.
The One Book Everyone Reads series is funded by the Friends of the Wilmette Public Library.
